aespa’s official paid fanclub product is MY MEMBERSHIP on Weverse Shop. The useful 2026 distinction is not simply “member or non-member”: Global and Japan are separate country-shop products, renewal has a defined window, the physical kit is sold separately, and every concert presale requires its own verification.

The currently published Weverse notice says new applicants and eligible renewals can buy the updated MY MEMBERSHIP (GL) product. That does not create automatic access to every event, and it is different from Weverse’s separate monthly Digital Membership.

Global and Japan are separate products

SM’s official notice lists the country-shop products as:

Weverse Shop Membership product
GLOBAL Shop MY MEMBERSHIP (GL)
JAPAN Shop MY-J MEMBERSHIP (JP)

Weverse allows multiple artist-membership purchases by shop country on one account, but the products still have their own territory, payment, benefit and event rules. Do not choose Japan only because a benefit or price appears different; confirm that the product fits your location and the event you intend to enter.

The GL renewal window is specific

The September 2025 extension notice says the updated GL product is open to both new applicants and eligible existing members. Renewal is available from 60 days before expiry until 30 days after expiry. A purchase made in that period adds 365 days to the remaining validity shown on the mobile membership card.

Only one MY MEMBERSHIP can be purchased per ID during the active validity period. If the renewal window is missed, read the current product page rather than assuming old continuity rules still apply.

Membership, kit and Digital Membership differ

The physical MY membership kit has its own sales notice and product page. Buying the fanclub membership does not mean a kit is automatically shipped. Check the kit round, order window, shipping territory and refund terms separately.

Weverse also launched an aespa Digital Membership as a monthly subscription in 2025. That digital subscription is not a replacement name for MY MEMBERSHIP (GL), and it should not be treated as fanclub presale eligibility unless an event notice explicitly says so.

What the 2026 Seoul ticket notice demonstrates

For aespa’s August 7–8, 2026 Gocheok Sky Dome concerts, the official ticket notice required an active MY MEMBERSHIP (GL), separate Melon Ticket presale verification and matching names across the membership, ticket account and attendee. Korean-page and global-page verification windows were different, and the verified page could not later be switched.

Those presale windows ended in June. General sales opened June 30, but this article does not claim tickets remain available; current inventory must be checked on the authorized Melon Ticket page. The example shows why buying membership after an event’s verification deadline does not reopen that presale.

Why the Korean-page and global-page split catches international fans specifically

The Gocheok Sky Dome notice’s separation between Korean-page and global-page verification, with no ability to switch afterward, is worth dwelling on because it is exactly the kind of detail an overseas fan is most likely to miss. A fan who assumes “verification” is one universal process — apply once, done — can end up completing the wrong page’s version, then discover only at the presale itself that they registered on the side that does not match their actual ticket-buying situation. Once submitted, a verification page choice functioned as final for that event. The generalizable lesson is not about this specific concert; it is that any future MY MEMBERSHIP-linked ticket notice should be read specifically for whether it separates a domestic and an international/global verification track, and if so, which one actually matches how you intend to buy.

Before you pay, resolve these

If I miss the GL renewal window entirely, do I lose my membership history? This guide has not seen an official notice describing what happens to a lapsed membership’s history specifically; the safest step is reading the current MY MEMBERSHIP product page’s own renewal and lapse terms rather than assuming continuity either way.

Can I hold both MY MEMBERSHIP (GL) and MY-J at once? The sources here describe them as separate shop-country products without stating a prohibition on holding both, but each still has its own separate benefits and validity — holding both does not merge them into broader access.

Does Digital Membership ever become ticket-eligible? Only if a specific event notice explicitly says so. Absent that explicit statement, treat Digital Membership as a content subscription only, separate from fanclub presale eligibility.

The practical answer is to buy the correct country product, keep the account name consistent and treat each event registration as a separate deadline. Membership can establish eligibility; it never replaces the organizer’s ticket notice.
