BIGHIT MUSIC posted a new ARMY Membership renewal notice on July 2, 2026. The important part for a new or returning fan is not a rumored benefit list: it is the official route. BTS membership is purchased through the BTS Weverse Shop, and the applicable region must be selected before payment.
This is a membership-access guide, not a concert announcement. No concert, fan meeting, ticket sale, pop-up or presale is inferred here. If an event becomes available, its own official notice controls eligibility.
What the July 2026 renewal confirms
The renewal notice keeps ARMY Membership as a Weverse product. BTS’s official profile identifies the seven members, and the official community uses ARMY as the fandom name. A page using those names is not automatically authorized; start from the official BTS profile or a verified BTS Weverse notice.
The membership system has previously been offered by region, including GLOBAL, USA and JAPAN. Region affects the shop, currency, delivery and sometimes eligibility. Do not choose a region because its price looks lower. Choose the region supported by the current notice and your account or residence conditions.
Membership does not equal every presale
Membership purchase and event registration are separate steps. An event may require an active membership by a specified date, a separate raffle or presale registration, identity matching, and a territory-specific membership. Buying after a registration window closes does not reopen it.
For any future BTS event, check these five lines in the official notice:
- eligible membership region;
- registration and sale windows in the stated time zone;
- legal-name and ID matching rules;
- purchase limits and account-transfer restrictions;
- the authorized ticket platform and venue.
Without those lines in an agency, promoter, venue or ticket-platform notice, there is no confirmed sale to plan around.
The scam check that matters most
BIGHIT MUSIC’s fraud warning says membership should be purchased only through Weverse. Treat direct-message sales, shared accounts, transfer offers, private payment forms and “guaranteed presale” services as high risk.
Before paying, compare the domain with the link opened from the BTS Weverse notice. Never send a passport scan, verification code or payment to a seller reached only through a search ad or social reply.
Recognizing the specific scam patterns that target BTS fans
BTS’s fandom size makes it a specific, recurring target, and the fraud patterns tend to repeat in a few recognizable shapes rather than being infinitely varied. Watch for these:
- The cloned shop page. A link shared in a comment section or DM leads to a page that visually copies Weverse Shop but sits on a different domain, sometimes one letter off from the real one. Always navigate to Weverse by typing the address yourself or following the link inside an official BTS notice, not a link someone else sent you.
- The “extra membership slot” seller. Someone claims to have purchased more memberships than they need and offers to “add your name” to one for a discount. A legitimate membership is tied to the account and identity that purchased it; there is no official mechanism to add a second name to someone else’s membership after the fact.
- The urgency-plus-payment-app combination. A message insists a presale window is closing in minutes and asks for payment through a personal payment app or bank transfer rather than the official Weverse checkout. Genuine Weverse purchases happen inside Weverse’s own payment flow — pressure to move the transaction somewhere else is itself the warning sign, independent of anything else about the offer.
- The “verification code” request. A caller or messager claiming to be from Weverse asks for a one-time verification code sent to your phone or email. Weverse support does not need your one-time code to help you — anyone asking for it is trying to log into your account, not fix it.
None of these require sophisticated technology to pull off; they work because they are aimed at fans who are excited, in a hurry, or unfamiliar with what an official Weverse flow actually looks like. Slowing down before paying is a genuinely effective defense against all four patterns above.
Official merchandise is a separate purchase
Membership and merchandise are not the same product. Open the BTS Weverse Shop notice page and verify the exact product name, sales period, shipping estimate, delivery territory, benefit edition and refund rules. A “membership gift” or photocard can be tied to one region or order window.
International buyers should calculate shipping, tax and customs before comparing prices. Keep the notice, order confirmation and product page until delivery is complete.
A safe 2026 setup
- Bookmark the BTS official profile and BTS Weverse notices.
- Enter the shop only from an official notice.
- Confirm GLOBAL, USA or JAPAN before payment.
- Use the same legal name you would present for identity verification.
- Treat every event, ticket and merchandise campaign as a separate notice.
The current verified fact is the July 2026 ARMY Membership renewal route on Weverse. Everything time-sensitive—benefits, ticket access, merchandise stock and events—must be rechecked in the notice that governs that specific transaction.
