Hangang River Festival Summer 2026 runs from August 1 through August 16 across multiple riverside parks in Seoul. The official schedule includes a free music picnic and drone show, an overnight K-drama program, outdoor movies, a silent disco, water activities and a paid boat race.

This is not one festival ground with one entrance. Events are spread from Yanghwa and Mangwon in western Seoul to Jamsil and Gwangnaru in the east. The official page also lists swimming pools and water playgrounds through August 30. Those facilities have separate entry fees and operating breaks, so do not assume a festival event includes pool access.

The Music Picnic takes place on the lawn near Yanghwadaegyo Bridge and includes live music plus an on-the-water drone show. The All-Nighter is built around K-dramas, late-night snacks, comics, board games and arcade games. The city does not list an advance booking requirement for either event.

Booking, heat and late-night planning
